E-Ticket & ID Required to fly in SA

I love how easy it has been to fly nationally in SA, book online, rock up at the boarding counter with your drivers license and small-talk your way from there through to the boarding gates and beyond. These new regulations though are going to annoy the crap out of everyone along with causing complete chaos. Expect flight delays around the country for weeks & Cape Town International to be non-functional!

Identity
Effective 01 June 2008, an ID Book or Valid Passport will be the only form identification acceptable for check-in. Drivers License will no longer be accepted as a form of identification.

E-Tickets (Reciept)

Effective 01 June 2008, all passengers must be in possession of an E Ticket Receipt. This should be the printed page, which contains all flights, vendor locator & ticket number.
