There was not one, but two Dog Surfing Competitions over the weekend that you probably missed.
The maneuver above earned the dog-thleats the Guinness World Record for “most dogs on a surfboard.”

Because you can never have too many surfing dog competitions, two separate surfing dog events took place over the weekend in California — Huntington Beach’s third annual Surf City Surf Dog competition, and Del Mar’s sixth Annual Surf Dog Surf-a-Thon.
The latter’s homepage reports that the event managed to raise nearly $100k in donations to support a myriad of charities, while the former produced a new Guinness World Record for “most dogs on a surfboard.”
So they both did some good!
